Hello, friends!

I am pleased to share that the final block for Simplicity is up live on the website- Kathryn Ramirez’s T’ai Ch’i Fan Dance is now available for those of you who are working on the quilt. Kathryn’s been leading the campaign here for the Breast Health Initiative, and it’s a pleasure to feature her block  on this project as well. She brings a sparkle to the corner block, I must say.

 I’m sure that you are wondering at this point what’s next for the BOM page? Cotton Spice has gone through a lot of growth in the past year, and Karen and I have something special for you coming up. We’re true believers in the Block of the Month format, but we’ll be switching up (being that this is baseball season) this feature into a new format once Simplicity is completed.  We’re both very excited about the possibilities that this is going to open up for you, and we’ll be telling you more about it in the months ahead. For now, the format as you’ve seen it will be ‘on vacation’ - picture a beach with colorful (batik) umbrellas in the sand.
