About Us
Cotton Spice is expanding! I've joined
with two other designers, Susan Peterman of Hand Made
With Love and Melissa Warren. Together, the three of us
have created the Cotton Spice Pattern Shop, where we
sell the biggest selection of PDF, immediately
downloadable patterns available! We offer patterns in
any of the craft genre's - knitting, crocheting,
quilting, embroidery, crewel, you name it! If you like
to do it, you can find the pattern for it here. If you
don't find it, let us know. We'll get some for you!
We’ve been publishing Cotton Spice Quilting Magazine for
the past four years and we already have a lovely
customer-base, good traffic to our site and an
e-Newsletter already set up - why start from scratch?
It’s easy to start selling with Cotton Spice. Fill out
our Designer Registration form, submit it via email and
you’re on your way!
Here’s how we do things:
You can list as many patterns as you
like on the site. Each pattern is charged a one-time
Data Entry Fee, and the more patterns you list, the
cheaper it gets. You don’t have to list all the
patterns at once to get the discount, it carries
forward.
1-4 patterns are $2 each
5-9 patterns are $1.50 each
10 and up are $1.00 each
You get paid once a month via check
or PayPal - your choice.

There are 3 ways to get started:
Shoestring Start-Up Plan - fill
out and submit the required form to become a
seller, and a Pattern Entry Form for each
pattern you want to sell. We will add up the
Data Entry charges and send you a PayPal
invoice. Once it’s paid, your patterns will be
live on the site.
Super Shoestring Start-Up Plan -
sign and return the required forms to become a
seller, and a Pattern Entry Form for each
pattern you want to sell. We will add up the
Data Entry charges and enter them on your
account. They will be deducted from your first
check. In the off chance your first paycheck is
not enough to pay the charges, we will deduct
1/2 the amount, and the remaining 1/2 from the
next month’s check. You are limited to listing 4
patterns with this plan. Once your Data Entry
charges have been paid, you’re free to list more
patterns!
The “I Don’t Wanna be a Pattern
Writer” program - maybe you just love to design
and create. That’s ok, we have spots for you
too! Just let us know this is your choice,
and we’ll direct you to the proper page for
directions. Follow the directions and we’ll get
you started! We will write your pattern and list
it for sale (no Data Entry fees).
You will be a Cotton Spice Designer - Your Full
Name, or a Hand Made With Love Designer - Your
Full Name! And each pay period you’ll receive
25% of the sale price of your pattern.
If your patterns are not in PDF format, we can help you
do that. You’ll meet with our Techie Crew and they will
